Community volunteers, the founder of a suicide prevention charity, and a local fundraiser who has raised millions for good causes, are among the 11 recipients of this year’s Wirral Awards.
Together As One is a multi-agency campaign highlighting the vast array of work that is being carried out by a range of individuals and groups who are united in a common goal to show that Merseyside will not tolerate serious violence.
More than £7 million could be invested on improving Wirral’s roads, footways and bridges in 2025-26 under plans which will be discussed at the next meeting of the Environment, Climate Emergency and Transport Committee.
