Wirral residents can catch up on their missed vaccinations in January, thanks to a roving health service.

We all know that viruses like flu, COVID-19 and RSV (respiratory syncytial virus) spread more easily in winter, especially as we are all spending more time indoors.

The project uses ‘kintsugi’, an ancient Japanese technique of repairing a broken object often known as the art of precious scars.

Kit Link offers residents the chance to recycle and reuse new and used sports equipment and clothing. Sports kit and equipment can be donated at collection points across the borough.

The programme was devised following a research project undertaken by Wirral Council’s Public Health team.
