Residents can use the Living Well Bus and walk-in services at select locations.

Wirral residents can catch up on their missed vaccinations in September thanks to a roving health service.

Popping up in locations across the borough over the next few weeks, the Living Well Service will be offering all routine vaccinations. The scheme also offers health checks and wider wellbeing guidance at the heart of communities.

The Living Well Service, which provides ‘drop in’ health clinics by bus, is built on the principles of bringing the right services to local communities and helping reduce barriers to accessing care.

Residents can access the Living Well bus at any of the following pop ups:

  • Friday 30 August – Mill Park Drive car park, Eastham, CH62 9GB from 10.30am – 4pm.
  • Wednesday 4 September - Rock Ferry Library / One Stop Shop, 259 Old Chester Road, CH42 3TD from 10.30am – 4pm.
  • Friday 13 September - Seacombe Family Hub, St Pauls Road, CH44 7AN from 10.30am – 4pm.

With no appointments necessary, the service’s clinical team will also offer physical health checks and mental health support, alongside vaccinations. Staff operating the bus can offer on-the-spot blood pressure and pulse checks, as well as checks for cholesterol levels, blood glucose and BMI. They can also refer people directly to talking therapies for mental health support.
