Latest shows coming to the Floral Pavilion – get your tickets now
Legendary comedians, West End plays and classic rock and pop are among the many new shows coming to the Floral Pavilion for the start of 2025.
Following hot on the heels of this year’s brilliant new panto The Further Adventures of Peter Pan – The Return of Captain Hook (continuing until 5th January) are shows for everyone.
To make sure you avoid the January blues you can grab tickets right now for some live comedy. The new year will see the Floral Pavilion hosting a raft of top comedians, including Ben Elton, the undisputed godfather of modern stand-up with his new show – Authentic Stupidity on February 6, and star of BBC Radio 4’s Dead Ringers and BBC One’s The Impressions Show Jon Culshaw with “Imposter Syndrome” on February 21. And you can get the laughs started right away with/ you can’t wait for the laughs to start then on January 17 is comedian Justin Moorhouse.
Football fans won’t want to miss Sky Sports legend Jeff Stelling, anchorman of Sky Sports Gillette Soccer Saturday for over 30 years. He will be joined by very special guest Paul Merson on January 15 as they chat all things football.
And if you’re looking for something a little different the nation’s favourite psychic is back on January 29 as part of her national tour. Whether you know Psychic Sally from her hit TV series, through watching her on Celebrity Big Brother or reading one of her best-selling books, there is nothing quite like seeing Sally live on stage.
The new year will also see some of the finest musicians bringing a huge range of styles to the Floral Pavilion.
From the timeless classics of Michael Bublé as Josh Hindle and his band recreate the magic of the Canadian crooner’s greatest hits (Friday January 17) to the high octane live show from Stacy Green who takes off the attitude of Pink the following night (Saturday January 18).
Following the adult panto Jack and his Giant Stalk on Sunday January 19 the music returns with An Evening of Burlesque on Thursday January 23 and then the electrifying journey through the sensational 70s and the chance to re-live timeless hits from icons like Donna Summer, Gloria Gaynor, Earth, Wind & Fire, Sister Sledge and Chic with Lost In Music on Friday January 24.
And if you’re super organised and already planning for the spring half term there is Fireman Sam Live! – The Great Camping Adventure on Thursday February 20 while multi award-nominated Immersion Theatre invite you on a vibrant underwater adventure like no other in their most spectacular and fantastical family musical yet, The Little Mermaid on Sunday February 23.
Also in February we have two huge shows coming to New Brighton: on Friday 14 – Saturday 15 there is Under The Mersey Moon, an inspiring new musical, telling the heart-warming story of one man’s determination to follow his dream and the enduring power of love, home and family. It will also feature local radio legend Billy Butler and his wife Lesley and tickets are on sale now.
And from Wednesday 26 February to Sunday 2 March is Rita, Sue and Bob Too! featuring TV favourite Jake Quickenden in the stage production of the classic movie. Jake plays Bob and is joined by Hollyoaks’ Jessica Ellis as Michelle, Shameless and Coronation Street’s Warren Donnelly as Dad, Britain’s Got Talent’s Siobhan Phillips as Mum, Kay Nicholson as Rita and Jenna Sian O’Hara as Sue.
