There are tonnes of activity sessions to choose from!

Children and young people with a disability or additional needs are invited to take part in a huge range of activities as part of a half term holiday scheme.

The Active Allsports Disability Holiday Programme offers young people with additional needs the opportunity to stay healthy and active throughout the school break – with the chance to learn a skill or try something new.

Cllr Ann Ainsworth, Vice-Chair of Tourism, Communities, Culture and Leisure Committee, said:

If you know a young person with additional needs who would love to get involved, please tell them about the programme.

With a wide variety of activities including swimming, bowling and cycling, there is something for all the family to enjoy as parents and siblings are welcome to join all sessions.

There are tonnes of activity sessions to choose from including:

  • Family Swimming
  • Bowling
  • Shadow Dance – inclusive dance class
  • Tag Active / Soft Play sessions
  • Wheels Extreme – which includes skating, scooters and skateboarding activities tailored to the abilities of the group

The February half term programme runs from Monday 17 February – Thursday 20 February 2025.

Family swimming sessions are free of charge and other session prices start from £3pp.

Pre-booking and payment is required for most activities.
