Fostering is life changing, for the carers who do it and the children they support.

We recently spoke to Jayne, a foster carer from South Wirral who, alongside her husband, has 10 years of experience in the role.

Speaking of the impact that foster caring has had on her and her family, she said:

Foster caring is a uniquely challenging role, but it's improved our lives, without a doubt […] Seeing children thrive and grow is so satisfying and to think that we’ve had a positive impact on in a child’s life is a great joy. This is why we’re still doing it after 10 years.

Alongside the pop ups, virtual information sessions are also available and can be booked in advance on the Foster4 website. You don't need to come to an event but it is a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have before you have an initial visit to your home from the fostering team.

If you have been considering fostering and want to find out more, visit the Foster4 website.
