Wirral Council's Leader, Cllr Paul Stuart, has welcomed the decision by a planning inspector to back the authority's decision to refuse plans to build on part of the borough's green belt.
Wirral’s Local Plan examination will begin on Tuesday 18 April at Wallasey Town Hall. The public can attend or watch online as planning inspectors carefully examine the proposed Local Plan which outlines how future development will take place in the borough.
