Parents and carers across Wirral are feeling more confident and supported thanks to a new training initiative aimed at helping children with Emotional Barriers to School Attendance (EBSA).

A brand-new café has opened at Equilibrium Family Hub – and it’s here for everyone! Thanks to support from Magenta Living and Family Hubs funding, the Pear Tree Café is now open Monday to Friday. It’s a warm, welcoming place where you can enjoy tasty food, meet friends, and feel part of the community.

She has been recognised by the King for her dedication to supporting children and young people.

The fall is attributed in part to a number of supportive and preventative approaches run by the Wirral Youth Justice Service (YJS).

Youth Justice mentors play an important role, supporting young people to improve their lives.

This summer, Family Hubs across Wirral have been buzzing with activity, laughter, and learning as families came together to enjoy a wide range of events and sessions designed to support children and their families.

A network of 75 Holiday Clubs are set to open their doors to thousands of local young people for the return of the Summer Holiday Activities and Food Programme (HAF).

The project is based around the support and relationships gained from an extended family.

National Care Leavers’ Week, which runs from Monday 28 October – Sunday 3 November is an opportunity to amplify care leavers’ voices, and shine a light on their achievements.
