COVID-19 hasn't gone away and in recent weeks there has been an increase in infections in Wirral and across England so we must remain vigilant and carry on keeping each other safe.
As we approach the half term break, parents and guardians in Wirral are being urged to take advantage of the school holidays and get their children, aged 5-17 vaccinated against COVID-19.
COVID-19 cases have risen by 63% in Wirral, in the last week. Between 3 March 2022 and 9 March 2022, 1,503 people had a confirmed positive test result.
