Gaming and creative-tech networking event comes to StartYard
For those looking to take their career in gaming and creative tech to the next level, Liverpool Game Dev Network is launching a new series of networking events – the Spotlight Series - to help local talent build connections across the Liverpool City Region, with the next one coming to Wirral on 5th March.
The events are being held in partnership with Liverpool City Region Growth Platform, a support service designed to help businesses grow and develop across all six of the city region’s boroughs.
Next week’s event at StartYard in Birkenhead will include talks by a number of expert speakers, as well as offering opportunities to network with others working within the gaming and creative-tech industries. It is open to those already working in the space, as well as those looking to get into the industry. The next event takes place at StartYard in Birkenhead from 4 – 8pm on 5th March.
The speakers appearing at the event are:
• Clemens Wangerin, director of Digital Advisors.
Talk: "From Entry-Level to Leadership: Cultivating the Mindset for Growth and Impact"
• Lauren Sears, talent acquisition, communications and outreach manager at Wushu Studios.
Talk: "CV tips for jobseekers in the games industry" with additional Q&A Session. You may ask questions for this event when purchasing a ticket, with the option of being anonamised
• Dennis Outten, Co-Founder of Focal Studios
