Live music concert heading to Birkenhead Central Library
Live music is heading to Birkenhead Central Library with a unique performance.
Lauren Auder will perform a set on Sunday 27 September at 2.30pm. The British-French singer-songwriter recently released her second album Whole World Is Vigil, which has been strongly supported by the likes of BBC 6 Music and Pitchfork magazine.
Known for blending elements of multiple genres, Lauren's music creates a distinctive and hypnotic form of orchestral pop.
The performance is hosted by Get It Loud In Libraries, which brings a programme of live music across the country.
Funded by Arts Council England and Paul Hamlyn Foundation, it gives audiences of all ages a chance to get up close and person with rising stars.

Get it Loud in Libraries events showcase new and emerging artists on the cusp of breaking through to the mainstream. In 2007, Adele performed a concert in Lancaster Library before going on to achieve global acclaim.
The programme is delivered in geographic areas that are generally outside the major metropolitan centres, with low live music provision – especially for young people and families
It aims to challenge and change perceptions of libraries and to engage new audiences, particularly young people in using these unique and valuable community assets.
