Five things to do at Family Hubs this half term
Wirral’s Family Hubs are hosting a variety of autumn and Halloween themed activities and events this half term. There’s so much going on that we couldn’t fit it all in! With half term just around the corner, we’ve picked out five to share with you.
Get your wellies on and get outside for a fun scavenger hunt in Birkenhead Park
Join St James Centre Family Hub on Monday 27 October for the Big Birkenhead Wellie Hunt. Open to families and children of all ages, this scavenger hunt will involve hunting for treasure and clues and soaking up the autumn colours in Birkenhead Park. Free of charge, you can either meet at St James Centre at 9.45am or outside the playground in Birkenhead Park at 10.30am. No need to book, just come along and wear suitable outdoor clothes.

Halloween Positivitree Stay and Play Peer Support
If you are a parent or carer of a child under 5 with additional or healthcare needs, then our Halloween-themed Positivitree Stay and Play sessions could be a perfect option for some half term fun!
Supportive, safe and welcoming, these peer-support sessions give your little one space to play whilst you relax with a cuppa and chat to other parents. Fancy dress is optional for both parents and children this half term, but we’re looking forward to seeing some spooktacular costumes!
The sessions will be in different locations across the week.
