Last chance to view a nature exhibition for the Liverpool City Region
Students from a Wirral secondary school have provided artwork for an eye-catching exhibition in Liverpool that closes this weekend.
Created with schools across the region, including Weatherhead High School in Wirral, this exhibition is a collection of nature maps created by young people from across the Liverpool City Region with artist Joe Venning to reimagine and celebrate our natural world.
Don’t miss your chance to catch a free nature exhibition outside The Open Eye Gallery in Liverpool (19 Mann Island) running until 14 September.
Developed by the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority and commissioned by DEFRA, this creative collaboration is part of the Local Nature Recovery Strategy, which is a strategy that has a bold vision to restore and enhance the regions natural spaces, support biodiversity and build healthier eco systems for our future generations.
These artworks help to showcase the rich species and habitats in our local areas and are a beautiful reminder of the importance of protecting our environment – and the power of young people to shape the future.
