Celebrate Wirral’s young entrepreneurs in New Brighton this Saturday
This Saturday some of Wirral’s brightest young entrepreneurs will be heading to New Brighton for the borough’s second ever Youth Market.
The outdoor market will have up to 30 stalls from young business-people aged 16-29, selling crafts, fashion and art, as well as lots of tasty treats. It will be overflowing with local talent and bursting with great ideas, so people are invited to come along and show their support.
There will be a stage with live music throughout the day, a unique live art installation from local artist Kate Bigley, as well as face-painting and twig-twisting for younger visitors.
The market will take place from 10am-4pm in the vibrant Victoria Quarter, opposite Rockpoint Records. Visitors can also enjoy New Brighton’s magnificent street art which can be found in surrounding streets, as well as independent retailers, cafés and bars.
The event, funded through the Liverpool City Region’s UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) will build on the success of the first Youth Market, which attracted more than 3,500 visitors to the Cherry Tree Centre in Liscard back in July. A third Youth Market is planned later in the year.
Visitors are asked to bring cash along, as not all traders can accept cards.
