Floral Pavilion delivers for all the family this spring

This spring will see something for everyone as the Floral Pavilion welcomes stars from the worlds of music and drama as well as exciting shows for younger audiences, from classic literature, the best of pop music to dinosaurs.

On Friday April 4 there is a chance to enjoy An Evening with Aled Jones. From the boy treble who captivated the world with his angelic voice to success on the classical stage, as well as starring in musical theatre productions in London West End, Aled’s credits include lead roles in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and Irving Berlin’s White Christmas. Now after 40 years in the business, he’s looking back on a remarkable career with a one-man show, that will feature never-before-heard music and tales from the decades. Coming up this Monday, 7 April, is the chance to feel inspired by the infectious energy as sparks fly off their wheels with the all singing, all dancing, roller skating phenomenon The Roller Boys.

And on Saturday 19 April the Floral welcomes the first theatre production to celebrate the contemporary icon Ariana Grande, one of the most influential and loved artists of the generation.

And on May 7 the singer, songwriter, saxophonist and guitarist Curtis Stigers will be welcomed by the Floral Pavilion. With several top ten hits to his name he has also written and sung an Emmy nominated TV theme song, recorded a track for one of the biggest-selling pop albums of all time and released nine critically acclaimed award-winning jazz albums. For the younger audience members there is a real treat with The Smartest Giant in Town based on the bestselling book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler. And if you’re looking for something a little lighter Pinch Punch welcome you aboard Locomotive for Murder: The Improvised Whodunnit, a totally improvised, totally hilarious murder mystery where killing the cast and cracking the case is in your hands. New Brighton’s Floral Pavilion is set to welcome the award-winning take on one of the most well-known and classic stories.
