50 Sleeps ‘til the Magic of Sleeping Beauty arrives in New Brighton!
As the big panto countdown hits just 50 sleeps, excitement is building for Sleeping Beauty at the Floral Pavilion: a festive spectacular bursting with star power, sparkle, and surprises.
Opening on Saturday 6 December 2025 and with 50 performances, this dazzling production promises to be the most enchanting yet with a cast that blends West End brilliance, TV favourites, and local legends.
An already-stellar cast is completed by two royal additions - bringing even more West End sparkle:
Daniel Urch as Prince Vincent – A rising star trained at ArtsEd, Daniel has performed in Grease, Guys and Dolls, 110 in the Shade, and Eugenius at the London Palladium.
And David Pendlebury as The King – A seasoned performer with an extraordinary career spanning West End hits like The Phantom of the Opera, Beauty & the Beast, Starlight Express, and Disney’s The Lion King. David has also performed internationally in operas such as Carmen and Aida as well as being the founder of TheatreMAD/The Make A Difference Trust, known for producing iconic fundraising events like West End Eurovision and West End Bares.
They will join:
· Kelle Bryan (Fairy Snowfall) – Pop icon and TV star bringing warmth and wow-factor.
· Cleo Demetriou (Princess Rose) – Olivier Award-winner and CBBC favourite.
· Sean Jones (Lester the Jester) – Back by popular demand with his riotous comedy.
· Quinn Patrick (Nanny Nora) – Larger-than-life dame with glittering heels.
· Amy Perry (Carabosse) – The villain you’ll love to boo. And this year the family can all play along with the panto with a free new interactive game that works on phones, tablets, and web browsers. Players must find their way through a maze to reach Sleeping Beauty.
Pauline Campbell, Venue Manager for the Floral Pavilion, said: “With just weeks left until opening night the excitement is building fast and we’re excited to welcome the cast to the theatre next week for the first time as an ensemble.
