Support at your fingertips: Wirral Neurodiversity Hub goes live
A new online resource has launched, providing support and advice for children and young people with neurodevelopmental needs across the borough. The Neurodiversity Hub Wirral is also a useful tool for parents-carers and professionals.
The hub is designed to support families and professionals by offering guidance, tools, and resources to better understand neurodiversity. It covers a wide range of topics, from differences in how people think and learn to practical strategies for everyday life.
Developed collaboratively with input from families and education professionals, the Hub reflects real experiences and practical solutions. It is a resource that will continue to grow, and feedback can be shared via the ‘Get in Touch’ link on every page.
What you’ll find on the hub
- ‘This is Me’ Neurodevelopmental Profiling Tool
- Guidance on understanding neurodiversity and its impact
- Tips for supporting learning, routines, and wellbeing
- Advice on reasonable adjustments at home and school
- Links to local services and support groups
Every child and young person is unique. For those who need extra help with communication, routine, or change, the Hub provides practical steps—such as visual timetables, quiet spaces, and planning ahead—things that can make a big difference for families.
You can explore articles, download guides and watch videos. All of the resources are organised in clear, colour-coded sections.
The Hub is part of Wirral’s Local Offer website, SENDLO.
