Prenton Park match-goers will be encouraged to look into fostering, thanks to a new advertising partnership between Wirral Council’s fostering service and their local club.

As part of this exciting partnership, Foster4 branding will be prominently displayed around Tranmere Rovers Football Club, including a pitch-side perimeter board that fans will see at every home match.

Wirral Council is part of Foster4, a collaborative fostering recruitment hub in the Northwest.

Through this sponsorship, Foster4 aim to raise awareness about the need for foster carers and the incredible difference they make in young lives.

This collaboration strengthens a long-standing relationship between the Club and Wirral Council, further emphasising their shared commitment to supporting the local community.

Cllr Stephen Bennett, Chair of Wirral’s Children, Families and Education committee, said:

Tranmere Rovers Football Club are fantastic partners within the community, who not only promote football and activity, but also work on a lot of social issues locally.

We’re pleased to be partnering with them yet again on the promotion of fostering in Wirral – as they have been strong advocates for our fostering strategy for years.

I’m hopeful that this new sponsorship will raise much needed awareness and help find loving homes for children in care in our borough.

Fans attending matches at Prenton Park are encouraged to look out for Foster4’s branding and consider learning more about how they can support fostering in Wirral.
