Residents from all walks of life are invited to join a thriving community of foster carers, each doing amazing things for the young people of Wirral.

Wirral Council is part of Foster4, a collaborative fostering recruitment hub in the Northwest.

As part of the drive to recruit more fantastic foster carers, the friendly Foster4 team are popping up in several locations across Wirral this month. Locals are welcome to come along, say hello and find out more about becoming a foster carer with Wirral Council.

Throughout the month, you can find the Foster4 team at the following locations:

  • Tue 12 Nov 1:00pm – 2:30pm | The Coffee House, Birkenhead
  • Tue 12 Nov 3:00pm – 4:30pm | Victoria Central Medical Centre
  • Tue 12 Nov 3:30pm – 5:00pm | Pure Gym, The Croft Retail Park
  • Tue 12 Nov 5:30pm – 7:00pm | The Oval Leisure Centre

Virtual information sessions are also available and can be booked in advance on the Foster4 website. You don't need to come to an event but is a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have before you have an initial visit to your home from the fostering team.
