The stars of the Floral Pavilion’s unmissable Christmas panto took to the stage this week to give a tantalising taste of the magic, music and mayhem that awaits audiences this Christmas.

With a dazzling cast that blends West End brilliance, TV favourites, and local legends, the panto promises to be the venue’s most spectacular yet.

Pauline Campbell, Venue Manager for the Floral Pavilion, said:

Welcoming the cast to our stage for the first time this week was a massive milestone in the countdown to opening night. Although the individual talent was clear for everyone to see, the real magic in any show is created by the on-stage chemistry between the cast, and this ensemble has it by the bucket-load – and they can’t wait to put on an unforgettable show for everyone.

Producer Martin Dodd of UK Productions said:

It is an absolutely joy to be bringing our spectacular production of Sleeping Beauty to the Floral Pavilion. It has all the ingredients to be the perfect festive treat for the whole family – the singing sensation Kelle Bryan spreading seasonal magic as Fairy Snowfall; star of stage and screen, Cleo Demetriou as our title character; the ever fabulous New Brighton stalwart Sean Jones, returning for his sixth year; a welcome return from dame extraordinare, Quinn Patrick; and the musical theatre sensations, Amy Perry, David Pendlebury and Daniel Urch.

With lavish sets and costumes, mesmerising song and dance numbers, not to mention bucket loads of laughs in the script from award-winning Jon Monie, It’s the show you’ve been dreaming of, with Award Winners aplenty, it promises to be a dazzling treat for the whole family.

Whatever you do – don’t sleep on this one, or you really will be the one missing out!
