Summer fun for foster families

Wirral Council’s foster families enjoyed a fun filled activity morning at Birkenhead Park this Summer.

Foster families have enjoyed a chance to connect and support each other as part of a dedicated activity morning in Birkenhead Park.

Set up specifically to encourage Wirral Council’s foster carers and children who are looked after to meet, connect and share their experiences, the event was full of games, arts and crafts.

Events like these are just one example of how the council works with foster families, along with regular training, peer mentors, and financial support.
