We spoke to WIRED's CEO about carer support in Wirral.

With an estimated 33,000 unpaid carers living in the borough, celebrating Carers Week is key to ensuring people who care for others get the support they need.

Carers Week runs from 10 - 16 June, with loads of events and activities planned for locals to attend.

During the awareness week, we caught up with David Maguire, CEO of WIRED who are the Council's commissioned provider for carer support. David spoke to us about all things carers, from awareness and support to the health impacts of caring for others. Watch the video below to learn more...
