VIDEO STORY: West Kirby Flood Wall is complete

The 1.1km West Kirby flood wall, designed in collaboration with local residents and groups, is now complete.
The wall features a wavy shape, seating areas and new event space to protect waterfront homes as well as the newly refurbished road, footways and cycle lane.

We're grateful to residents and businesses for their patience whilst this important work was carried out.
The car park at Dee Lane has also fully reopened to visitors, although train travel into West Kirby is convenient and easy.
