Less than a week left to take part in Wirral’s climate survey

As the latest climate survey nears its close for 2023, residents have until 1 August to share their thoughts on the role they want to play in Wirral’s climate response.

The survey is an opportunity for residents to tell the council and its partners how they will be supporting the climate emergency response in the future, and to share any environment-focused changes they have already made to their lifestyle.

The survey also provides a space for residents to share their concerns and feelings about the climate – what they are most worried about, how aware they feel and where they turn for guidance, advice and support.

To take part in the climate survey, visit the Climate Action Hub on Have Your Say.

The information gathered by the survey will be used to continue to shape a programme of engagement ensuring the council and its partners are providing advice, support, events and - where appropriate, grants - to residents on issues they care about, in a way that empowers them to take their own actions.

Developed to support Wirral’s climate goals that were set by the Cool Wirral Partnership in the Cool 2 Climate Strategy, the climate survey is part of the new online Climate Action Hub - a platform dedicated to helping residents find out more about local climate projects.

As well as the chance to take part in the survey, there is also a link to where residents can calculate their own current carbon footprint, then plot it on an electronic map of Wirral alongside other residents who have used the calculator.
