Wirral Youth Market heading to Bromborough this August
Wirral Youth Market is heading to Bromborough this summer, bringing a vibrant mix of young entrepreneurs, creative talent and live entertainment to the town centre on Saturday 22 August 2026.
The popular event will give visitors the opportunity to discover unique products, support local young businesses and enjoy performances from emerging talent from across the borough – and budding entrepreneurs are encouraged to apply now to take part.
Since launching, Wirral Youth Markets have gone from strength to strength, hosting hundreds of young traders and performers across events in Liscard, New Brighton, Birkenhead and West Kirby, attracting more than 30,000 visitors and helping many young entrepreneurs take their first steps into business. Previous traders have gone on to build successful ventures, with some receiving national recognition for their achievements.
Young people with a business idea, side hustle, creative brand or established small enterprise can apply now for a free pitch, which includes a gazebo, table and chairs.
Applications are also being welcomed from musicians, bands, dance groups, choirs and other performers looking for a platform to showcase their talents. Thanks to the success of previous Youth Market events, over 30 traders who have attended before are already signed up for the Bromborough date.
The event is funded by the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority's Local Growth Fund and, this year, additional funding will also give five young entrepreneurs the opportunity to access extra support through the Wirral Business Support Service.
Delivered by Wirral Chamber of Commerce, the programme will include workshops, one-to-one advice and practical guidance at Youth Market events. Whether someone is already running a small business or just starting out with an idea, participants will be able to build confidence, develop their skills and take the next steps towards turning their passion into a business.
