Birkenhead Market to host Craft Fair this Easter
Dozens of makers, bakers and creatives are heading to Birkenhead on Saturday 19 April for the Market’s Easter Craft Fair.
Established artisans and aspiring talent from across Wirral and beyond will be showcasing a vibrant mix of goods, from beautifully-designed Easter decorations, to one-of-a-kind crafts and baked goods - there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
Councillor Tony Jones, Chair of Wirral Council’s Economy, Regeneration & Housing Committee, said:
Wirral Youth Market, which took place in the outdoor market just a few weeks ago, showed how much people enjoy a different kind of shopping experience, as well as the quality of creative talent in this area.
The Easter Craft Fair is the perfect for anyone looking to buy something a bit different, or who enjoys fantastic homemade food, or is even just looking for something interesting to do on a Saturday afternoon.
More than 60 traders are expected, selling a wide range of unique items, including hand-crafted jewellery, home décor, flower wreaths, candles, toys, beauty products, paintings and prints.
Free facepainting and balloon animals will be available to help keep the little ones entertained throughout the day.
The Easter Craft Fair will take place in Birkenhead Market’s covered outdoor space, which is right next to Birkenhead Bus Station, offering bus connections across Wirral and to Liverpool, Ellesmere Port and Chester, as well as rail access from the nearby Birkenhead Central, Conway Park and Hamilton Square Stations. Parking is also available nearby at The Grange and The Pyramids carparks.
The Easter Craft Fair takes place on Saturday 19 April between 10am and 4pm.
