Food waste - find out when your collection will start

Wirral residents are now able to check exactly when their new food waste collections will begin as the online calendars have been published.

The dates have been added to the calendar on wirral.gov.uk/bins.

As the countdown to collections continues, more food waste caddies are being delivered to homes across Wirral this week by Biffa.

The delivery includes

• a small indoor caddy for daily food waste

• a larger outdoor caddy

• liners and an info leaflet

Collections begin in three phases on 6 July, 27 July and 17 August, and caddies will arrive before the start date. Residents can confirm exactly when theirs begins at the link above, as well as on the sticker attached to your caddy. 

Once your collections begin, put your outdoor caddy out every week on your usual bin day.
