Time to renew subscription to garden waste collection service

The subscription window for Wirral Council’s garden waste collection service is now open.

Due to the high costs of administering the payments, the option of automatic renewal by Direct Debit is not available this year which means every household that wishes to receive the service from 1st June 2026 will need to make a card payment online. 

The cost of this service in 2026-27 will be £63.50 for the first brown bin and £34.80 for each additional one. The new subscription period runs from 1 June 2026 to 31 May 2027.

Anyone wanting to renew their subscription by card payment or those who wish to subscribe to the service for the first time can do so when the subscription window opens on 22 April 2026. If you want you service to continue uninterrupted, sign up before 19 May 2026.
