Council unanimous in opposition to pipeline plan

At an Extraordinary Meeting of full Council on Monday night, a number of motions put forward in opposition to the Peak Cluster project and how it would affect Wirral were passed unanimously by members present.
The resolutions approved by members now form the basis of Wirral Council’s official position on the project and potential impact it would have on the borough.
Members of all parties expressed their support and gratitude to residents and campaigners who turned out in their hundreds both before and during Monday night’s meeting to demonstrate their opposition to the Peak Cluster plans.
