Workshops start this week on three travel schemes
Residents are invited to attend workshops to help discuss three key transport routes and help shape possible future plans for the areas.
Funded by Active Travel England, this engagement programme aims to understand from residents, businesses and users how the routes can be improved to make travel safer, easier and more attractive for everyone.
The three areas under review are:
- Arrowe Park Road (Woodchurch Road to Thingwall Road East roundabout)
- Birkenhead Road (Kelvin Road to Eureka Roundabout)
- Price Street (Beaufort Road to Argyle Street)
The programme aims to gather and understand local views, issues and new ideas for improving access by all modes of transport to busy destinations like Arrowe Park Hospital, Seacombe Ferry Terminal / Eureka museum, and shops, businesses and attractions in Birkenhead town centre.
To get involved, you can attend an upcoming workshop, or visit the council’s Have Your Say website.
