A 19-year-old woman has been made subject to an Injunction following a catalogue of anti-social behaviour incidents, including the assault of a Wirral Council worker in Woodchurch.

Wirral Council’s Anti-Social Behaviour Team, working in partnership with Merseyside Police, took enforcement action against Lexi Chapman following an assault on a Council staff member, further incidents of anti-social behaviour and repeated breaches of the Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO) on Hoole Road.

Following a full investigation by Wirral Council’s Anti-Social Behaviour Team, an application was made to the court for an Injunction against the Woodchurch resident.

At a hearing held at Birkenhead County Court on 4th February 2026, the court granted an Injunction for a period of 15 months, expiring at 4pm on 5th May 2027, together with a Power of Arrest.

Under the terms of the Injunction, Lexi Chapman is prohibited from:

  • Entering or being in any part of the immediate area of Woodchurch Leisure Centre, or the Hoole Road Public Spaces Protection Order area.
  • Associating with six named individuals in any public place within the Metropolitan Borough of Wirral.
  • Wearing or being in possession of a face covering in any public place within the Metropolitan Borough of Wirral.
  • Engaging in violent, threatening, or abusive language or behaviour towards any person, including employees of Wirral Council or Merseyside Police, anywhere within the Metropolitan Borough of Wirral.

If a breach of the Injunction is proven, Lexi Chapman could face imprisonment for up to two years and/or an unlimited fine.

The Injunction and Power of Arrest remain in force until 4pm on 5th May 2027.
