Photo Gallery: Remembrance Sunday Civic Service in Birkenhead

Events were held across Wirral at 11 o'clock this morning (11 November) to mark Armistice Day.

The Mayor, Councillor Brian Kenny, represented the people of Wirral at a special service at Flaybrick Memorial Gardens, while a two-minute silence was also observed at the Cenotaph in Hamilton Square and at Wallasey Town Hall.

Thousands of residents also came together for Remembrance Services across Wirral on Sunday morning (9 November). Some images from the Civic Service in Hamilton Square, Birkenhead, are posted below.
