The Mayor pays tribute to HRH The Duchess of Kent

The Mayor of Wirral, Councillor Brian Kenny, has paid tribute to HRH The Duchess of Kent, following her death on Thursday.
The Mayor said:
On behalf of the Council and people of Wirral, I would like to offer my condolences to Royal Family and everyone who is touched by the loss of the Duchess.
She will be remembered by many for her gentle grace and humanity, and for her long and varied contribution to public life.
The Duchess’ funeral will take place at Westminster Cathedral on Tuesday 16 September.
