One week left to register: Floral Pavilion pantomime auditions open for local dancers
The Floral Pavilion Theatre is teaming up with renowned production company UK Productions to bring festive magic to Wirral this Christmas with a spectacular production of Sleeping Beauty — and they’re looking for local talented performers to join the cast!
With Kelle Ryan and Sean Jones already announced, Christmas at the Floral Pavilion is set to sparkle brighter than ever before, with a panto that promises to enchant, dazzle and delight.
Dancers aged 16 and over who live within 25 miles of the venue are invited to audition for Principal Ensemble roles, with the chance to cover lead parts.
Auditions take place Thursday 3rd July at 1:00 PM at Hoylake School of Dance, 100 Market Street, Hoylake, CH47 3BD (entrance via Elm Grove). Arrive by 12:30 PM to warm up.
What You Need to Know:
- Must be 16+ and have completed GCSEs (Please check Time off college/work is allowed before audition)
- Dance Audition: A high standard of both ballet and jazz is required
- Auditionees will be taught a routine on the day. Please bring Heels to the audition
- Strong acting & vocal skills required for covering Principal roles
- Please prepare a Disney song as may be required to sing on the day - bring backing track on iPod/iPhone/MP3
- May be required to read script on the day
- Full availability is required. Must be available to start rehearsals from Monday 24th November 2025, (two weeks full rehearsals- no time off will be allowed) and be available for the full schedule of performances from Saturday 6th December – Sunday 4th January 2026 Inclusive. First week of rehearsals 10am – 6pm including Saturday, 2nd week (production week) – rehearsals between the hours of 10am – 10pm.
Pay ranges from £346 to £560 per week, depending on age, inclusive of travel and subsistence.
