Music and dance dominate the new shows just announced tfor the Floral Pavilion this year.

From a Strictly legend bringing his magic to the theatre’s stage as well as music for all tastes, there is a show for coming soon for everyone.

Anton Du Beke at the Musicals sees the Strictly Come Dancing judge once again taking to the stage bringing his live band, guest singers and dancers, meaning a fab-u-lous evening of song, dance and laughter is to be expected. 

Anton will be performing songs and dances from some of his favourite musicals bringing a glamorous evening based on classic West End and Broadway shows. And his behind the scenes stories from his time on Strictly Come Dancing will have you laughing out loud.

On Friday 17 October The Country Hits Live Show brings a musical celebration of the best country songs of all time - with world class singers and award-winning musicians, this show will transport audiences direct to Nashville.

Jam-packed with songs from some of the biggest musical icons of all time, The Country Hits Live Show takes audiences on a journey through the history of country music, from the 50s and 60s hits of legends such as Johnny Cash, to the wide-reaching music of Dolly Parton, all the way to the newer country-pop songs of Shania Twain and Taylor Swift. This show treats audiences to the biggest hits in country music, including ‘Jolene’, ‘Ring of Fire’, ‘Islands in the Stream’, ‘Man I Feel Like A Woman’ and ‘Love Story’.

Alongside an award-winning six-piece band Country Hits Live is fronted by Jade Helliwell and Lars Pluto. Born in West Yorkshire, Jade Helliwell has established herself as one of the UK’s leading country musicians, winning the British Country Music Association’s Female Vocalist of the Year award three times. Having performed at the likes of Country2Country and The Long Road, Jade’s powerful vocals will captivate audiences. 

Garnering widespread acclaim whilst starring in international smash hits such as the Everly Brothers tribute show Walk Right Back, Lars Pluto encapsulates the essence of country music, his vocals transporting audiences to Nashville.

Few shows have experienced the phenomenal global success of The Simon & Garfunkel Story, with multiple sell-outs in over 50 countries worldwide and more than 20 headline performances in London’s West End, including appearances at the world-famous London Palladium. And now on Friday 18 July The Simon and Garfunkel Story will be at the Floral Pavilion in New Brighton.

With Luther Live the Luther Vandross the legend lives on and will be celebrated at the Floral Pavilion with this incredible show on Thursday 4 September.

On Tuesday 28 October the Floral Pavilion welcomes legendary singer-songwriter Justin Hayward, The Voice of the Moody Blues, with his The ‘Forever Autumn’ Tour.

Justin Hayward OBE has enjoyed a career which is now in its fifth decade. The vocalist, lead guitarist and composer for the iconic Moody Blues, had hits including the masterful ‘Nights in White Satin’, ‘Tuesday Afternoon’, ‘Question’, ‘The Voice’ and the US top 40 hits ‘I Know You’re Out there Somewhere’ and In Your Wildest Dreams’: plus other classic, era and genre-defining hits. These laid the foundation for the incredible success story of the Moody Blues – as well as solo work.
