Conjure up the perfect gift
If they like something a bit different, Psychic Sally - the nation’s favourite psychic - is back on tour (Wed 29 Jan) and star of BBC Radio 4’s Dead Ringers Jon Culshaw (Fri 21 Feb) will be conjuring up an array of the best-known personalities from the worlds of entertainment, politics, and beyond in his trademark style. Witness British rock royalty at the The Tremeloes and The Searchers Experience (Sat 15 Feb) and for those who like something a bit risqué, there’s An Evening of Burlesque (Thu 23 Jan), featuring fun, feathers and fabulous costumes.
Not to be missed, actor, TV personality and star of Spandau Ballet Martin Kemp will be spinning some of the biggest hits of the 80s on Sat 8 Mar.
Enjoy a play together
There are some great plays coming up at the Floral, including Under The Mersey Moon (Fri 14 & Sat 15 Feb), about a struggling country musician from Liverpool who embarks on a make-or-break pilgrimage to Nashville, and the not-to-be-missed Rita, Sue & Bob Too! (Wed 26 Feb - Sun 2 Mar) - the hilarious 1987 cult classic starring TV-favourite Jake Quickenden, Hollyoaks’ Jessica Ellis, Shameless and Coronation Street’s Warren Donnelly and Britain’s Got Talent’s Siobhan Phillips.
Something for the little ones
With Fireman Sam – The Great Camping Adventure (Thu 20 Feb) and The Little Mermaid (Sun 23 Feb) bringing her underwater adventure to the Floral, they can get up close to their favourite characters.
