New shows are regularly being announced in the busy and varied programme of incredible performances coming to New Brighton's Floral Pavilion.
This week they range from a chance to find out more about some of Everton’s greatest players – In Conversation – musical tributes ranging from Buddy Holly to Tom Jones, a return to the music of the 1970s, a visit from Ireland’s No.1 Folk'n'Roll band, rewind to the land of dinosaurs, some amazing dance shows, and even body building.
On Saturday 17 May the Floral Pavilion welcomes three Everton Legends to talk about their action-packed football careers: Peter Reid, Kevin Sheedy and Neville Southall. This is a chance to come and listen to stories and anecdotes from their glittering careers as footballers and their rise to fame in the sporting world. From memorable matches to behind-the-scenes stories, fall outs, managers they played under and everything you would expect to hear from three stars of the football world.
They will also give an insight into the history of the club, its iconic players and some reminiscing about past glories - this is a night for any toffies fan!
A limited number of VIP tickets are available, affording the opportunity for a meet and greet with the legendary players and a photograph opportunity before the show. On Friday 11 July the Floral Pavilion will host the amazing tribute to Buddy Holly and the Cricketers - 33 Years of Rock 'n' Rolling The World!
All Holly’s hits plus classics from his rock ’n’ roll pals are played live on stage by five amazing young actor-musicians, who always delight crowds with their fabulous show. Featuring raw rock ’n’ roll, beautifully haunting ballads, energetic performances – and some genuinely hilarious moments – there is no live event that delivers a better Buddy experience. On Sunday 11 May the Floral Pavilion will be welcoming NABBA North West, the oldest and most prestigious bodybuilding event held in the area.
It is a qualifier for the NABBA Britain the biggest amateur bodybuilding event in the UK. This is the highlight of the year for these amazing athletes showing off their bodies which they have worked hard for over the past year.
