We're looking for local people to become a School Crossing Patrol in various areas around the borough to help children cross the road safely on their way to or from school.

Paul is just one of our current crossing patrols and really enjoys giving back to the community.

Watch the video below to hear from Paul.

Paul, just one of our current School Crossing Patrols, shares why he took on this role and why he enjoys it.

If you, or someone you know, can spare up to an hour each morning and afternoon to help keep children safe as they arrive and leave school – our road safety team would love to hear from you.

Please contact roadsafety@wirral.gov.uk or call Kathy on 07712133719 or Debbie on 07712133720 to have an informal chat about the role and they can direct you on how to apply.

The School Crossing Patrol role is subject to Enhanced Child Level DBS check.
