Temporary closure of Europa Square car park

The public car park at Europa Square will be closed to the public from Friday 23rd May 2025 to enable contractors delivering the Birkenhead Town Centre improvements to complete this part of the works safely and efficiently.

There has been a partial closure of the car park since March to allow the works to begin and the temporary full closure is necessary now for the area to be reconfigured in line with the plans being delivered in the town centre.

Alternative multi-storey council car parks are available at Conway Street and at the Pyramids. There are also both council parking spaces and private parking within the nearby Asda supermarket car park. There is also public parking at the Europa Pools leisure centre.
