If you have registered for a postal vote for elections on 4 July 2024, you can find out when your postal pack is being sent to you below:

  • Overseas electors were sent their postal vote packs on 13 June 2024 to allow for the extra time it takes for international mail to be delivered and returned.

  • Wirral residents who are existing postal voters, or who had their new application to be a postal voter processed by 31 May 2024, are being sent their postal packs today (Friday 21 June 2024).

  • Anyone who applied for a postal vote after 31 May 2024 (but before the application deadline of 19 June 2024) will have their postal vote pack sent to them on 26 June 2024.

The date you receive your postal pack will depend on the speed of the postal service and where you are, particularly if you are an overseas voter.

It is your responsibility to ensure that your postal vote and returned and received by Wirral’s elections team by 10pm on election day. If you aren’t able to post it in time, you can hand it in to your polling station by 10pm on election day.
