Hamilton Square Gardens and the Town Halls in Birkenhead and Wallasey will unite with landmarks across the globe, glowing orange from Saturday 25 November, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women and Girls.
Efforts by a Birkenhead-based voluntary group to preserve and improve the Flaybrick Memorial Gardens have been recognised with The King’s Award for Voluntary Service.
