From football sessions, themed parties, arts and crafts and video games – there’s lots happening this week and next to help Wirral’s young people to celebrate safely this Halloween, Diwali and Bonfire Night.

Check out the list below for a round-up of all the free activities Wirral’s young people can access all without booking required – so perfect for those last-minute plans.

Tuesday 29 October 

  • West Kirby Youth Space, 6:45pm to 9:45pm, Variety of activity at the centre including Arts & Crafts, Jewellery Making, Music Equipment, Board Games, Table Tennis, Pool, PS4, Healthy Cooking workshops 

Wednesday 30 October

  • Moreton Youth Space, 6pm to 8pm, variety of activity at the youth space including team building games, music, PS5 games, arts and craft
  • Leasowe adventure playground, 1pm to 4pm, for little ones 5years+ and 7pm to 9:30pm for older children, Halloween party with Disco, Food, Candyfloss, Games Playstation, Xbox, Pool comp
  • Leasowe Leisure Centre, 5pm to 6pm, football session 
  • Woodchurch Community Football Hub, 5pm to 6pm, football session 
  • Bidston Sports and Activity Centre, 5pm to 6pm, football session
  • Liscard Youth Space, 6pm to 8:30pm, open access youth club (ages 11 to 13 years)
  • West Kirby Youth Space, 6:45pm to 9:45pm, variety of activities including Arts & Crafts, Jewellery Making, Music Equipment, Board Games, Table Tennis, Pool, PS4, Healthy Cooking workshops

Thursday 31 October 

  • Eastham youth space, 6pm to 8:30pm, Halloween party, fancy dress competition, games, activities, arts and crafts, party food
  • Leasowe Leisure Centre, 5pm to 6pm, football session 
  • Woodchurch Community Football Hub, 5pm to 6pm, football session 
  • Bidston Sports and Activity Centre, 5pm to 6pm, football session
  • Liscard Youth Space, 7pm to 9:30pm, Open access youth club for 13 years old and upwards
  • West Kirby Youth Space, 6:45pm to 9:45pm, variety of activities including Arts & Crafts, Jewellery Making, Music Equipment, Board Games, Table Tennis, Pool, PS4, Healthy Cooking workshops 

Friday 1 November 

  • Oval Leisure Centre, 5pm to 7pm, football session (session funded by Mid Wirral Crime Prevention Panel)
  • Guinea Gap Leisure Centre, 6pm to 8pm, football session
  • Leasowe Leisure Centre,  5pm to 7pm, football session 
  • Woodchurch Community Football Centre, 7pm to 8pm, football session 
  • New Brighton Marine Lake, 5:30pm to 9:30pm, Monty the Mersey Monster light show
