Money and Debt Support with Family Hubs

Help and support with finances and debts is available to all families across Wirral. Family Hubs provide a range of support for families, including free and confidential money and debt advice in partnership with Citizens Advice Wirral.

This long-standing collaboration ensures that families and individuals can access expert financial guidance close to home, helping them feel more in control of their money.
 

Support tailored to your needs

For more than 85 years, Citizens Advice Wirral has been helping people navigate financial challenges by offering non-judgemental, practical advice. Whether you're struggling with bills, need help understanding benefits, or want support managing debt, friendly experts are on hand to guide you.

Through Family Hubs, you can access drop-in sessions offering:

  • Budgeting and money management advice
  • Help with benefits applications and entitlements
  • Debt support and repayment planning
  • Guidance on cost-of-living challenges
  • Specialist support for gambling-related financial concerns
     

Where and when to get support

Mondays: 

St James Centre, 11am – 3pm (Benefits, money & cost-of-living advice)

Tuesdays: 

Seacombe Family Hub, 1pm – 4pm

Wednesdays:

Ganneys Meadow Family Hub (1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month, term-time only), 9:30am – 12pm

Bromborough Family Hub (Excluding 1st and 3rd Wednesdays), 9:30am – 12pm

Thursdays: 

St James Centre, Birkenhead, 10:30am – 12pm (Every other Thursday – for gambling-related financial concerns)

Fridays: 

Brassey Gardens Family Hub, 9:30am – 12pm

There’s no need to book - just drop in when it suits you.
