This festive period, Wirral’s Family Hubs are bringing joy and support to families across the borough.
Whether you're looking for festive fun or help and advice, the Hubs are here to help, with tailored activities and resources to ensure no one is left out this winter.
Here’s what’s happening at the Hubs and how they can support you:
No need to book activities unless stated.
Seacombe Family Hub
Support Available:
- Healthy Homes Drop-in - free advice and services relating to a range of health and housing issues
- Warm Hub - a place to get warm and enjoy some company
- Coat Exchange - provides families with the option of swapping their child’s outgrown coats, hats and other warm clothes with new ones that fit
- Social Supermarket – low cost food and household products
- Energy Project Plus support - offers personalised advice on ways you can keep warm and reduce your energy bills
- Citizen’s Advice drop-in – get free, impartial and confidential advice
Christmas Opening and Closing Times:
- Closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day
- Open 27, 30 and 31 December 9am-5pm
St James Family Hub
Events:
- St James Christmas Fair: Saturday 14 December, 10 am – 1 pm
- Christmas Film Afternoon: Monday 23 December, 3 pm – 5 pm
- Christmas Eve Disco (HAF-funded, booking required via Eequ): Tuesday 24 December, 11 am – 1 pm
- Christmas Dinner: Wednesday 18 December, 12pm
HAF is a Department for Education programme that funds free places for children eligible for benefits related free school meals
Support Available:
- Warm Hub - a place to get warm and enjoy some company
- Food Bank – low cost food and household products
- Involve Northwest drop-in – get advice and guidance in making positive changes to family life
- Wirral Credit Union drop-in – provides support in managing finances by providing savings facilities and access to low-cost loans

Equilibrium Hub
Events:
- Christmas Holiday Club (HAF-funded, booking required via Eequ · After school. In place of school. Beyond school.)
HAF is a Department for Education programme that funds free places for children eligible for benefits related free school meals
Support Available:
- Community Breakfast – free breakfast for the community
- Wellness Wednesday – free Soup and bread
- Free Food to collect – collect groceries and food at no cost
- Community Connectors drop in – find out what’s in your area and how to get involved
- Coat Exchange - provides families with the option of swapping their child’s outgrown coats, hats and other warm clothes with new ones that fit

- Closed week commencing 23 December
- Open 30 and 31 December 10 am – 2 pm
Brassey Gardens Hub
Support Available:

Bromborough Family Hub
