IN PICTURES: Walker Park tree planting revisited

An unbe-leaf-able four years on after the community planting sessions and the trees continue to grow.

Walker Park was planted with 900 new trees in November 2019 and since then the trees have flourished to provide this new woodland area.

Look at the pictures below to see the difference between summer 2020 and summer this year!

The trees continue to grow and are looking much bigger this summer (July 2023).

The trees are a mixture of Oak, Beech, Holly, Bird Cherry, Hazel, Rowan, Guelder Rose and Alder Buckthorn.
