Free pop up space offered to Wirral businesses at Merseyrail stations

Merseyrail is offering Wirral businesses the chance to promote themselves for free, with a pop-up activation at one of their 69 railway stations between Monday 22nd to Friday 26th September 2025.

The Local Business Week initiative will give companies across the region the chance to take advantage of the footfall at rail stations to raise awareness of their products and services, as well as foster stronger connections with the local community.

Merseyrail stations across Wirral include Birkenhead North, Hamilton Square, Conway Park, Hoylake and New Brighton.

To qualify, businesses need to be located within a 2-mile radius of a station. Those that are successful in securing a space will be invited to host a pop-up promotional activity for the day, which could include giveaways, competitions or handing out samples.

Applications for Local Business Week are open until Friday 25th July here, where those interested can also access a list of participating stations and extra information about how the scheme will work.
