View the plans for Birkenhead to Liscard in Virtual Reality
Get involved with the Birkenhead to Liscard consultation by visiting an exhibition or attending one of our pop-up sessions or Virtual Reality sessions where you can ‘cycle’ the proposed route.
This significant regeneration project aims to encourage more people to walk, cycle or wheel for short journeys. The proposals connect two of the boroughs town centres with a 3.5 mile running from Chester Street and connecting Hamilton Square station, Woodside Ferry, Wirral Waters, Seacombe Ferry Terminal, Eureka! Science and Discovery Museum and Liscard town centre.
You can see the plans at a number of locations throughout the consultation period and watch them come to life by watching the 3D model video or attending a Virtual Reality experience and ‘cycling’ the proposed route.
Through the plans and the 3D model for the project, you can see the improved pavements and crossing areas, more street furniture and seating and dedicated spaces to ride and park a bike.
