Get your steps in with the Wirral Walking Festival 2025
With silent disco walks, history tours and art in nature rambles, there’s something for everyone to enjoy…
Wirral residents are sure to have a spring in their step as they are invited to taking part in the borough’s annual Walking Festival. Co-ordinated by Wirral Council’s Active Wirral Wellbeing Team, the event highlights the range of walks that take place in the peninsula, from sauntering strolls to hardy hikes.
Cllr Ann Ainsworth, Vice-Chair of Tourism, Communities, Culture and Leisure Committee, said:
Getting out locally is an excellent way to stay fit and healthy – while exploring the beauty and intrigue of places, right on our doorsteps.
This year, the Wirral Walking Festival has more variety of walks than ever for residents to choose from. Whether you prefer a coastal stroll, a nocturnal walk or even a silent disco – residents of all ages and abilities can take part – with many walks also accessible to those with limited mobility.
