Seacombe Family Hub has had a fantastic garden makeover, thanks to a community project involving group of Wirral based students and Merseyside Fire Service.

As part of a personal development course funded by the Prince's Trust, a group of 11 students aged between 16 and 23 have transformed the outdoor space for families to enjoy.

Delivered by Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service, the 12 week course is an accredited qualification in employment, teamwork and community skills.

Working hard in all weathers - as seen in the video below - the students have made the garden a great space for the families and children that attend the hub.

We spoke to Caroline, the Programme Support Worker for the project, and one of her students to learn a bit more about the transformation...
