No changes to bin collections over Easter bank holiday

There are no changes to bin collections over the Easter bank holidays. Collections scheduled for Friday 7 April and Monday 10 April will go ahead as normal. Please have your bin out for collection by 7am on your normal collection day.

Household Waste Recycling Centres

From 1 April 2023 until 30 September 2023 Wirral’s Household Waste Recycling Centres (the tip) will be open from 8.00am until 8.00pm. The Centres are located at:

  • Bidston – Wallasey Bridge Road, Birkenhead – CH41 1EB
  • Clatterbridge – Mount Road, Clatterbridge – CH63 4JZ
  • West Kirby – Greenbank Road – CH48 5HR

There is a system in place for those who wish to visit in a van or with a large trailer. Bookings can be made through Merseyside Recycling and Waste Authority.

If you are planning a Spring clean this Easter Bank Holiday weekend, you may want to donate, swap or sell any items that are in good condition.
